Validation of compressed air purity to the classifications shown in ISO 8573-1 requires the user (or tester) to follow additional standards, as ISO 8573-1 is only one part of a series of nine separate standards. ISO 8573-1 cannot therefore be used in isolation as the enclosed white paper illustrates:
